As the year 2020 came to a close, Sensor Tower provided insights into the performance of popular puzzle and riddle games on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. The fourth quarter saw varying trends among the top applications in this category.
Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles, published by UNICO STUDIO, showed a notable increase in both downloads and weekly active users (WAUs) as the quarter progressed. By the end of December, downloads peaked at around 36K, while the WAUs climbed to approximately 196K.
Similarly, Brain Test 2: Tricky Stories, also from UNICO STUDIO, experienced growth in downloads, reaching over 15K in the week of December 21, and a surge in WAUs to around 42K by the end of December.
Pixelland LLC's Tricky Bricky: Brain Games 3D had a more fluctuating pattern with an impressive spike in downloads to over 5K in late October. The game's WAUs saw a significant rise towards the end of the quarter, hitting nearly 7.5K.
